Callibri font: after attempting to download it many times always present an error.

Error: “Cannot open file: it does not appear to be a valid archive.
If you downloaded this file, try donwloading the file agian.”

Some software reads it as corrupt since it’s a small file, like Winrar. I upload it again this time with another added so WinRar doesn’t think it’s corrupt.

I downloaded the calibri.rar file to my Mac iBook G4 and was able to open it using Stuffit Expander 12. It contains only Calibri regular. Is there a way to get the rest of the Calibri family?

Hello all,

Download the file and extract the files in the font folder in the control panel. It will automatically install the fonts.

the font download doesnt’t work because its in .rar
can u change it so its a zip file?

Liz: The .rar format is pretty common. You need to install WinRAR or 7zip to open it.

the webpage even says:
“News: Quick and direct: Download: Calibri-all.rar {Unzip it and the right click on each calibri.ttf and choose …”

So the “zip”-ing part seems embedded in peoples minds, even yours. =)

Cool - whoever you are. I’ve been up working for close to 50 hours so far and one of the guys who will run the presentation with the N° 3 Yacht builder worldwide in Bremen, sent me a .ppt after midnight to get it up and running in 3 different movies - and the damned font was missing. And I don’t have a small library myself, 2.800 type I fonts plus almost all .otf. plus the bertold, agfa, linotype etc.

thanks for the tip about extracting into the Control Panel Fonts folder, that’s the only thing that worked for me, i use Windows/Office XP
