1. AeroPeek

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced

DesktopLivePreviewHoverTime: Sets the time in milliseconds that the Desktop will appear when you hover over the area right of the

taskbar. Set at 40 for fast and 1000 for slow.

DisablePreviewDesktop: Disable AeroPeek when set to 1.

Restart explorer or reboot the computer for the changes to take effect.


2. Thumbnail Preview Time

ExtendedUIHoverTime: Sets the time in milliseconds that the thumbnail popup will appear. Set at 40 for fast and 1000 for slow.

3. Large Window Preview Time

ThumbnailLivePreviewHoverTime: Sets the time in milliseconds that the Large Preview Window will appear when you hover over the thumbnail popup. Set at 40 for fast and 1000 for slow.

DisablePreviewWindow: Disable Large Previews when set to 1.

Restart explorer or reboot the computer for the changes to take effect.

4. Set Thumbnails or List Threshold

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Taskband

NumThumbnails: Create a NEW Dword (32-bit) value and name it NumThumbnails, set it for 3 and the thumbnails will switch to list mode after 3 thumbnails.
