Directory Opus 9 folder formats

In Dopus click on settings and then preferences, at the bottom of the dialog their is a filter field, type “folder format” and hit enter.

The filter starts at the top and works it way down looking for a filter for the folder that your opening and then applies it.

Any box checked will be used and you need to double click on them and set them up so they appear as you like.

At the top is single folders that you have added a view type to, then comes content type formats which are trigger by a certain type of file in a folder like mp3 or pictures. Custom folder is the default folder view if no other view applies to it above it.

First set the display, such as details mode or thumbnails.
Second set the columns that you want to appear in say detail mode.
Set the attributes that will appear or be hidden. I recommend using the Hide Filter to hide the file and folders mark with hidden and system attributes.
Set the image or background color.

Also be sure to uncheck the “Include the columns from other matching formats” it will add columns from other formats as you navigate through folders and most will find it annoying.

click the image to see the result.
