Fix Zone Alarm in 5 minutes!
1. The First thing you should know about Zone Alarm is the slider control, which can quickly fix most connection problems. It’s found under Firewall then select Main. Sometimes the HIGH setting stops internet access. Change it from HIGH to medium and see if that resolves your loss of internet activity.

If you have a Maxtor or Seagate hard drive, you can download their utility, which is actually Acronis True Image v10.0. It works with Windows XP, Vista and OSX. The only feature missing I believe is the incremental part which means you have to make a complete Image everytime.

Create Hardlinks & Symbolic Links
Link Shell Extension (LSE) provides for the creation of Hardlinks , Junctions , Volume Mountpoints , and Vista’s Symbolic Links, (herein referred to collectively as Links) and a Folder Cloning process that utilises Hardlinks or Symbolic Links. LSE, as its name implies is implemented as a Shell extension and is accessed from Windows Explorer, or similar file/folder managers.
The extension allows the user to select one or many files or folders, then using the mouse, complete the creation of the required Links - Hardlinks, Junctions or Symbolic Links or in the case of folders to create Clones consisting of Hard or Symbolic Links. LSE is supported on all Windows versions that support NTFS version 5.0 or later, including Windows XP-64 and the Vista operating system. Hardlinks, Junctions and Symbolic Links are NOT supported on FAT file systems, and nor is the Cloning process supported on FAT file systems.

Shell Object Editor
What is a shell object?
The “My Documents” folder is a shell object. It is a special shell object, a shell folder. Shell folders are not real folders on your hard disk; they only refer to real folders. They are a kind of “hard links”, a special type of shortcuts. Ok, you can use shortcuts to hard disks or you can use shortcuts to directories on your desktop to access places on your hard disk you often need to access. But you can’t browse them that easy, shell folders are much easier to use.
You can browse through their subdirectories on the left side of the view, or you can double-click on the right side. They behave in the exact same way as the “My Documents” folder. With the shell object editor, you can create as many of those shell folders as you want, although we recommend only choosing the folders you use most.
However, there are more shell objects. The Internet Explorer that resides on your desktop by default is a shell object, too. It is not a shortcut because it has not the typical shortcut arrow. The Internet Explorer is a delete able shell object, but you can create shell objects that are impossible to delete. This may sound like nonsense to you, but it is useful in some rare cases and such objects can be created with this editor.
