Adding Administrator back to the Welcome Screen 

1. Click Start Globe, Right Click on “Computer”.

2. Click Manage and then Local Users and Groups, and then Users.

3. Select the Administrator account and enable it, then close “Computer Management”.

4. Click the start globe and then click the arrow and select switch users:



5. At the Welcome screen, choose Administrator and when logged in set a password.

How to get Sleep, Hibernate and Shutdown back on the menu. 

If you turn off Hybrid sleep mode then you get sleep, hibernate and

shutdown, sleep becomes standby (Suspend to Ram) just like in XP.

1. Control Panel

2. Power Options

3. Change Plan Settings

4. Change Advanced power settings (dialog box pops open)

5. Sleep

6. Allow Hybrid Sleep = OFF, Click APPLY and OK.
